1992 - Present

Since hearing a tape from Sasha Universe in Magor 1992 all I wanted to do professionally, was DJ; at the precise point of the first mix - Melissa Morgan - Still In Love into Denise Lopez - Don't You Want To Be Mine - it's just the ultimate classic tape and swapping bootleg rave tapes and collecting flyers was a core part of the lifestyle of youngsters in my local community.
I was first exposed to Djing and operating the decks my my elder cousins in Australia in about 1989, having my first go on the 'wheels of steel'. Learnt back in Wales, properly, on belt drives, - self-taught with my best mate and first business partner, Paul G. Proceeded to Technics when I first began promoting club events a week after my 17th Birthday. I currently am exploring digital DJing with Traktor 2 and MIDI equipment, though I think that Vinyl Djing is an essential core of the art and profession of DJing.
DJed for my own Shuffle events and other promoters / clubs in UK and abroad.
Since my regular podcasts
launched in 2008 I have focussed on DJing via the internet, dispersing music far and wide to a global audience.
A Novice Producer / Remixer.
Also teach DJing - see portfolio link for details on this work - taught over 1000 people of all ages and abilities, a highlight being a summer of work with a deaf childrens' youth club work which I found to be even more rewarding as a DJ, than starring in the glitziest of clubs alongside the most famous of world DJs. Teaching taught me the true universality of music. If I can teach deaf children who cannot hear sound how to DJ better than their hearing peers, anything is possible in music. I received funding from the Prince's Trust during the years of teaching which was most graciously received and really kickstarted the valued educational aspect of the business.
